CANCELLATION POLICY

Conference fees will be fully refunded provided that the cancellation request is received no later than 30 April 2017. Cancellations occurring between 1 May to 31 May 2017 will be refunded 50%. No refunds will be given after 31 May 2017. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the offical workshop e-mail: ecs4@chem.uw.edu.pl. Note the hotel cancellation policy is different.

FREEDOM POLICY STATEMENT

The organizers of the ECS4, shall observe the basic policy of non-discrimination and affirms the right and freedom of scientists to associate in international scientific activity without regard to such factors as ethnic origin, religion, citizenship, language, political stance, gender, sex or age, in accordance with the Statutes of the International Council for Science. At this meeting no barriers will exist which would prevent the participation of bona fide scientists.

Accommodation

UW Dormitory no. 4 in Zamenhofa Street

Address: ul. Zamenhofa 10A, 00-187 Warsaw

Student's Hostel in Zamenhofa Street is located almost in the centre of Warsaw, in the neighbourhood of two underground (Polish "Metro") stations ("Ratusz" and "Dworzec Gdański") and Krasiński Park. Thanks to its very good location you may have a pleasant walk to the Warsaw Old Town, the Royal Route and, first of all, to the University of Warsaw. Thus, all main points can be reached on foot directly from the hostel. The hostel offers comfortable single and double rooms (studio type) with shared bathroom (please note that you should have your own towel). Extra-paid wire Internet access is available on-site upon request. Please note the breakfast is not available on-site.


How to get to the conference venue: Take a bus number 111 or 180 from "Nalewki-Muzeum" bus stop and go to the "Uniwersytet" bus stop (10 minutes), which is 2 minutes' walk to the Pałac Staszica (the conference venue) (see Google.Maps).

Hotel Gromada Centrum

Address: pl. Powstanców Warszawy 2, 00-030 Warsaw

Gromada Hotel is situated in the centre of Warsaw, 10 minutes' walk from the University of Warsaw, in the neighbourhood of the most interesting and beautiful places of the capital of Poland, including the Old Town, the Royal Castle and the National Museum. The hotel offers rooms of different standards (Economic, Standard and Increased Standard with air-conditioning), and was thoroughly modernised in 2003. The hotel restaurant has 120 seats, the club restaurant has 120 seats, and there is also a traditionally decorated Polish tavern and a bar. Additional services include: a newspaper and souvenir kiosk, a gallery with paintings and jewellery and an attended car park.


How to get to the conference venue: You can easily walk, it is only 500 meters from the hotel to Pałac Staszica (the conference venue) (see Google.Maps).

Book a room at the 4-star Novotel Warszawa Centrum with stunning views of the vibrant city of Warsaw.
